I used to hate Celery. I wouldn’t even touch it before, but recently I’ve been finding myself really enjoying it’s naturally salty taste in Raw Vegan Recipes. I’ve been using it more often, and I love it! I used it for Tonight’s Salad dressing. I’ve been experimenting on more Raw Vegan Recipes lately since I’m beginning to really enjoy Red Bell Peppers and Celery. So let me share you this simple but delightful recipe! It’s really simple, and if you aren’t used to healthy food, and fresh whole foods, you might not enjoy this. But if you enjoy healthy salads, you just might!
What you’ll need:
Choice of Greens- Romaine, Spinach, etc.
3 Stalks of Celery
1/4 cup Lemon/Calamansi Juice
2 handfuls of Basil
1/3 cup Cilantro/Parsley
2 Cloves Garlic
If you aren’t staying away from oil and salt and trying to have minimal spices, you can spice it up with whatever you enjoy. Everyone does have different preferences.
1. Chop your Greens and any additional veggies for your salad and put in a bowl.
2. Blend all ingredients for the dressing together.
3. Spread dressing on top of salad.
This makes around 2 cups which was just 1 serving for me with my giant salad.
Working on more recipes for you guys! I’ve been having such a blast working on new recipes and healthy alternative, it’s so much fun and very fulfilling! Will be working on making healthy Vegan food for kids too because I know kids are hard to please, so we have to find ways to get them to eat their veggies!
